Hey there! do we get the same amount of points for answering all 10? or do we get more points? Cuz i need as much as i can get..haha
Question 3: Pluto isn't considered a planet anymore because 1. It is too small to be a planet, it's considered a planetoid now. 2. Pluto had a different orbit then the other planets. While the 8 planets orbited in the same plane of the Earth's path, Pluto's orbit was more elongated and further away from the other planets.
Question 7: The Sun does rotate, and it takes 30 Earth days to go fully around just one time.
Question 1: Jupiter has the most moons.
Question 10: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
Question 9: Saturn is not the only planet that has rings, it's the only planet that has rings that can be seen from Earth. Uranus, Jupiter, and Neptune all have rings
okay well Im going to answer 5 until further notice...
#1 Jupiter has the most moons
#2 Venus is the hottest planet at 870 degreesF
#3 Pluto isnt a planet b/c it is not in our orbit, its too small(mass is only .07 times that of the mass of others, and because its own gravity cant pull it into shape
#5 Most comets originate from the outer planetary systems just beyond the orbit of neptune
#10 Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
Not Pluto anymore...
answer:1 SATURN has the most moons and it technically has 57 moons but has an absolutely-confirmed amount of 31.
answer:2 Venus is about 400 degrees.
answer:3 Pluto is not a planet any longer because it dose not go around the sun the same way we do. It is slanted. Two it is smaller than or moon
answer:4 A meteoroid is piece of cosmic debris in the solar system. It becomes a meteor, when it enters Earth's atmosphere and begins toglow brightly. It becomes a meteorite if it survives and hits the
ground.
answer:5 Most astronomers believe that comets originate in the outer, colder edges of the solar system.
answer:6 Sun is about 4.5 billion years old. And will die in about 5 billion years.
answer:7 Yes, the Sun does rotate. We can observed this by observing sunspots. All sunspots move across the face of the Sun. This motion is part of the general rotation of the Sun on its axis. Observations also indicate that the Sun does not rotate as a solid body, but it spins differentially. That means that it rotates faster at the equator of the Sun and slower at its poles.
answer:8 The largest astroid ever found is Ceres. It's in our astroid belt.
answer:9 No, the other planet that has rings is Rhea.
answer:10 1.Mercury 2.Venus 3.Earth 4.Mars 5.Jupiter 6.Saturn 7.Uranus 8.Neptune
I'm too smart to waist my time doing this easy stuff
Im busy doing smarter stuff like 2+2 and watching tv
Question #1: Jupiter
Question #2: up to 900 farenheit
Question #3: unusual orbit, too small
Question #4: a meteoroid is piece of cosmic debris in the solar system. It becomes a meteor when it enters Earth's atmosphere and begins toglow brightly. It becomes a meteorite if it survives and hits theground.
Question #5:Long-period comets come from Oort Cloud and Short-period comets originate from the Kuiper Belt.
This is sam r just to clear things up
Hey can u put ur next picture as danny noriega? Pweese... here's a pic: *http://www.buzznet.com/www/search/photos/danny%20noriega/?p=1#pagesubnav
Question#1 Jupiter
Question#2 464 c or 867f
Question#4 a meteor is a small particle that burns when it reaches the earthes atmosphere ans a meteoriod is a term for all meteoic objects
Question#5 In the outskirts of the solar system
Question#6 The sun is about 4.5 billion yrs old and it will die in about 5 billion yrs
Question#7 The sun does rotate and it takes 30 earth days
Question#10 mercury
venus
earth
mars
jupiter
saturn
uranus
neptune ane if u want to include pluto
Yes it is poosible for a planets day to be longer than it's yearThe planet Venus’s day is longer than its year. It takes 225 Earth days to rotate around the Sun which is a Venusian year and 243 Earth days to rotate on its axis which is a Venusian day.
hey "uncle c."- u should be glad to know.. that i did ALL the extra credit things over spring break.. on paper :^]
Extra Credit:
#10. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupitor, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.
#9. No, Jupitor, Uranus, Neptune also have rings.
#7. Yes, the sun does rotate. It takes 27 days at the equator and 31 days at the poles. According to the sunspots.
#6. The sun is 4.5 billion years old. The sun will die in about 5 billion years. The sun is a dwarf and dwarfs live to about 10 billion years, and the sun is already about 5 billion years old.
#2. Venus can get as hot as 865 degrees (F). Which is 735 Kelvin.
question #1: Jupitor has the most moons.
Question #2: Venus can reach up to 900 degrees.
Question #3: One reason is that it is too small. And another is that pluto isnt in our orbit.
Question #4: The difference is that a meteoroid is piece of cosmic debris in the solar system. And a meteor is when it enters Earth's atmosphere and begins to
glow.
Question #5: A vast cloud of ice that covers the solar system.
Question #6: We think the sun is about 4.5 billion years old. And the sun will die in about another 5 billion years.
