Heat Transfer

Hey gang,
It's been a bumby road with the crazy schedules this month. Don't give up. Strive to be excellent...ALWAYS! To the right is a link on heat transfer. Some of which we covered, and most of which is a preview of what is to come. Please check it out.
DCAS testing this week. Be sure to get sleep and food. Let me know how I can help,
MR C

I'm so glad you left a note! Never got to properly say good bye. Felt bad. You will be fine at your new school. Just keep an open mind. Allow time for your brain to adjust. YOU ARE SMART ENOUGH! Newtons are just another way of saying KE with units. Your just getting into the math aspect of it. That's what these guys will see next year.
What school are you in? Where are you? Keep me updated, and stop to smile when you can. Its good for you. Miss your presence in class,
MR C

Jade,
Not KE with units, sorry. Newtons are units to describe forces such as gravity or friction. It is based on mass and acceleration. hope thast helps

Well everything is new to me here. I go to Warwick Middle in Pennsylvania. There are 2740 kids there too, and there is only 7th and 8th grade! Anyway, we are learning about the forces but Are pretty much focused on friction. Also the Math here is Way harder than I ever expected. My sister says it is 10th grade math. So yeah. I guess Its good to have a change, buts It is really hard!

give it time, Jade. You'll be running with things in no time. I remember moving to a new elementary school in 5th Grade. I felt so stupid and so dumb because the kids there were learning stuff I had never heard of. I look back and laugh now. The kids I thought we extremely smart or the school I thought was extremely hard doesn't exist anymore. It was all in my head, it wasn't reality. The reality is- you have a brain. It works. It's not can you, its will you. When you decide to do it, it will happen. Be patient, allow for mistakes, (welcome them), and try your best to remain confident in your abilities. I believe in you.
Mr Crandell
PS. Is Warwick outside of Philly?

Jade,
we are working on heat transfer (conduction, convection, and radiation). But we had DCAS tests and all these breaks so kids are way off balance. We go to high school monday for a tour of the school. Should be fun. Keep smiling,
Mr C
