Anyone who was absent today,
     We discussed the behaviors of waves.  There were four: Reflection, Refraction, Diffraction, and Absorption.  Today we focused on reflection and the Law of reflection.  Both can be investigated on this site

Academic Challenge students,

    1.  Today we rehearsed the properties of all waves:

          Amplitude, Wavelength, Frequency, Crest, and Trough.
   
   2.   Tomorrow we will have a 20 point Formative on these properties.

Welcome to the Aces!!

     Welcome to our class website!  In the weeks to come, you will be able to access this site through Schoology.  Take a moment and check out some of the sites to the right and have fun exploring/learning.  It's mainly visual, which I've found to be extremely helpful in understanding science concepts.
     The "Padlets for our class" is basically like a locker for our class.  Just like you put your things for school in a locker, I've placed the sites I use for each unit in a "padlet".  If you click on the link, you can see the units you will be studying this year and the sites I routinely use in those units.  Feel free to get ahead of me.
